General Information Location 350 Los Ranchitos Road San Rafael, CA 94903 United States Description OVERALL SUMMARY: This position is responsible for helping to support the success of marketing and fundraising efforts by: Developing and implementing Social Media campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. Tracking and reporting GDB website analytics Supporting the content creation for a wide range of media, including GDBA cents € (TM) s website, social media channels, emails, and traditional direct mail Providing additional support to the Marketing team as needed POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: SEM Develop and implement strategy and manage campaigns including cost estimates, budget, and reconciling discrepancies Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns Track, report, and analyze website analytics, PPC initiatives and campaigns Optimize copy and landing pages for paid search engine results Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization Research and analyze industry advertising links SEO Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine optimization Perform ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities Research and implement content recommendations for organic SEO success Social Media Management Develop strategy for supporting brand-building, development, recruiting, and other objectives. Create compelling social media posts across range of GDB social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, GDBA cents € (TM) s blog, etc. Analyze success of social media efforts to inform future campaigns. Reporting and Analytics Track, report, and analyze data for GDB-owned websites Track, report, and analyze audience and engagement metrics for GDB-owned social media profiles Provide insights into opportunities for optimization and improvements Create analytics presentations Create testing and measurement plans as needed Implement social media/e-mail campaigns Create, manage and optimize paid social campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. Manage non-paid posts, measure engagement, and find new areas of opportunity Integrate fundraising campaign content into social platforms Continue to evolve social media guidelines for GDB employees and volunteers Develop messaging for organization-wide emails targeting GDB community Oversee brand consistency in email campaigns executed by direct mail partners General Ability to work collaboratively with the Marketing team, colleagues throughout the organization, and members of the GDB community Comfortable presenting work to internal stakeholders POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Excellent writing and communications skills, including proofreading and editing Experience with social media platforms/channels and website content-management systems Experience with Salesforce or other CRM and email platforms Ability to convey passion, enthusiasm, focus, creativity, humor and a positive outlook Proven ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize work based on deadlines and budget constraints Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy Able to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees. Able to occasionally travel and to work nights and weekends (as required) In-depth understanding of SEO/SEM, keyword research, and Google Analytics Hands-on experience with social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns including Google AdWords, and re-targeting Experience with social media management tools, like Buffer and Hootsuite POSITION SPECIFICATIONS Full-time Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE EQUIVALENT TO: BachelorA cents € (TM) s degree in marketing, communications, or related field. Minimum two years position-related experience.
