Our applications also feature flexible deployment options that allow customers to run their businesses in the cloud, on-premise, or both.Main Purpose of Role:The Last Mile Content, or LMC, Data Architect role includes designing, creating, deploying and managing a full suite of applications data architecture, including both master data as well as transactional industry data sets, synchronized across multiple integrated solutions and deployed on the AWS cloud. The Data Architect defines how the data will be stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different applications and IT systems, as well as any 3rd party applications using or processing that data in some way as part of business process.The LMC Data Architect provides a standard common business vocabulary, expresses strategic industry data set requirements, outlines high level integrated designs to meet these data set requirements, and aligns with enterprise strategy and related business architecture of the CloudSuite platform.Main Responsibilities of the Role:* Set data architecture principles across the suite of applications and support base data sets for updates and maintenance* Prescriptive review of IA and GDE data and changing it into base CS dataset* Create diagrams showing key data entities and synchronized mapping* Create an inventory of the data needed to implement the architecture vision and can do End to End Use Case Journey mapping and design* Organize data at the macro and micro level, data models, for new applications and integrations across the suite* Provide logical data models as a standard for "golden deployments" and for consuming applications to inherit* Create data monitoring models for each suite and work with the marketing teams, sales teams, and content teams to create models ahead of new solution and suite releasesDriving Business:* Foundation in systems development: the data architect should understand the system development life cycle; software project management approaches; and requirements, design, and test techniques.* The Data Architect should be able to conceptualize and influence application and interface projects, and therefore must understand what advice to give and where to plug in to steer toward desirable outcomes and content for the end users and customers. The Data Architect will provide input into the provisioning process with the cloud operations team.* The Data Architect should conceive and portray the big data picture and initiate, evaluate, and influence projects from the perspective of the entire suite and end customer use cases.
