Robot Club Lead Teacher and Teachers in Training, After-School Enrichment for Elementary & Middle School TinkerTech is a non-profit offering exciting STEM and STEAM educational after-school enrichment programs in Marin. We are looking for creative, enthusiastic educators to run our Dash and Dot Robot Clubs in a fun and exciting manner, using curriculum from Wonder Workshop. Dash and Dot help children learn the fundamentals of programming using a block programming language and in Swift Playgrounds. To be successful in this role, you will: Enjoy teaching Be curious about all things Maker and STEM Be a fast learner. An interest in Computer Science is necessary but robotics programming experience is not required for this role as training is provided Have experience teaching a group class and have a good command of child management Be reliable, highly organized and great at thinking on your feet Thrive in the creative learning environment that Maker and STEM encourages Be enthusiastic about the work of TinkerTech, a 501(c)(3) non-profit promoted through and on social media Have a driver license and/or provide your own transport - our classes are mobile We provide the robots and materials needed to teach these small group classes and have an excellent curriculum for you to follow with the students. We value enthusiasm and a growth mindset over years of experience and can offer a network of support and training for the right person.
