Iconic Lodge, is seeking for immediate hire, a Lodge Manager with a minimum of 3:5 years of previous experience as; Lodge Manager and/or Boutique Hotel/Resort Manager, to provide the ULTIMATE guest experience, while maximizing room revenue and productivity, and developing managers and employees of our opulent property.
Our newly, multi million dollar, renovated property; features 22 rooms and 2 cottages located on three acres, which adjoins the 71,000 acres of the Point Reyes National Seashore Park and is a short drive to some of the best beaches in Northern California and Sonoma County/ Wine Country.
55000:80000 Base Salary Plus 15:20 Performance Based Bonus + Benefits
Customer:Service: Hotel managers deal with guests every day. Customer loyalty begins with good service and friendly demeanor.
Interpersonal Skills: Being calm and direct in a stressful situation and being able to communicate with many different types of people.
Leadership: Hotel managers need to be able to motivate their employees, resolve issues and complaints from guests.
Listening: Excellent listening skills are needed, especially with guests. Making sure that guests are happy and that staff is getting what they need to do their job is crucial.
Management: Working with budgets, planning, creating schedules and supervising operations are all a part of the job.
Organization: Hotels have a lot of moving parts, from guests to maintenance, to events to budgets and scheduling. Hotel managers need to keep it all organized.
Problem:Solving: Hotel managers need to be able to think quickly on their feet and make decisions with problems come up.

Ensure lodge and grounds are at all times safe, neat and tidy and well maintained
Ensure all facilities and equipment are in good working order
Check that rooms are correctly styled and reset
Ensure that all room FF and E are as specified and in good repair
Ensure that breakfast and beverage services are complete and well presented
Manage gardening and maintenance contractors
Source and order new FF and E items as required
Ensure all lodge assets and storage items are secure, organized and accounted for
Manage punch list of items for maintenance or FF and E attention

Recruit, hire, train, manage, develop, discipline and release staff
Create and maintain positive work environment and team spirit
Set the standard for guest service, courtesy, professionalism and hospitality
Ensure compliance with labor, health and safety regulations and standards
Schedule front desk and housekeeping staff using WhenIWork

Manage group sales manager
Ensure groups and events are well planned and executed
Work with restaurant and deli to provide food service
Prepare a group profitability worksheet

Manage online travel sites
Manage and respond to social media presence on Tripadvisor, Yelp, Facebook, Instagram
Manage and respond to guest reviews
Assist with PR, photography
Develop and manage partner relationships with local tour vendors
Work with marketing manager to execute marketing programs

Work to provide a total guest experience
Provide backup for front desk
Assist with guest complaints or issues
Develop relationships with group and repeat guests

Purchase food, beverages and supplies
Ensure services are rendered correctly
Maintain delivery log and ensure deliveries are checked and stored

Manage Autoclerk reservation system
Review reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis
Adjust room rates according to demand
Manage front desk sales incentives
Audit staff punches daily
Work with accounting to ensure daily audit balances with deposits
Approve payroll and commissions semi:monthly
Create personnel action forms as required
Supervise monthly inv
