Position Overview:

The Meadows is seeking certified CNA's to work in our Skilled Nursing/Health Care Center. We have 69-licensed beds. The CNA provides basic, effective nursing care to residents in our Skilled Nursing Department (Health Care Unit), under the direction of the Charge Nurse and supervision of the Director of Nursing. CNAs will assist with direct resident care including but not limited to:

-ADLs: dressing, grooming, hygiene, oral care, eating, hydration and mobility.
-Assuring the residents are functioning through Range of Motion (ROM) Activities: turning schedule, toilet schedule, and feeding.
-Observing residents for any physical or behavioral changes in condition and promptly alert the Charge Nurse.
-All CNAs will provide nursing care with respect and compassion while promoting individuality and comfort to all our residents. We are seeking individuals who have the desire and willingness to learn, work in a collaborative environment, and have a passion for improving the care and satisfaction of our residents!

-Current CA Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification.
-Current BLS/CPR Certification.
-Skilled Nursing or Long-term Care experience with a geriatric population is highly desired.
-Ability to meet new and/or work under stressful situations with the appropriate response.
-Work collaboratively in a team environment.
-Possess outstanding communication skills as this position requires constant communication with our staff, residents, and family members.
