Job Description 13;
We develop world:leading products used to design the latest high tech devices, such as cell phones, satellite systems, and other wireless communications devices. You will be located in the company headquarter in beautiful Santa Rosa, California approximately 50 miles north of San Francisco. Our team is responsible for developing and introducing high performance modular RF and microwave signal generator and spectrum analyzer products.
Our products require software, electrical, and mechanical engineers to create a complete system. As a member of our New Product Introduction Team (NPI) , you will apply your software skills, working with hardware and software designers in R and D, Manufacturing, and Marketing to create world class solutions. You will investigate requirements and design, prototype, and implement new measurement and calibration algorithms that deliver top performance from some of the most advanced electronics in the world. The solutions you develop are used throughout the product development lifecycle and into manufacturing, ultimately deployed worldwide.
This position involves the full software lifecycle of requirements capture, investigation, definition, design, implement, test, production and maintenance. Your job will include working with a variety of digital, analog, and RF circuitry depending on project needs. New Product Introductions require control and characterization of amplifiers, filters, interface and control circuits , phase lock loops , and frequency conversion. Software is developed in C on a Windows operating systems and controlling advanced measurement hardware.

While part of a team, you will also be working independently on your priorities and tasks. The scope and complexity of your tasks will be based on your existing knowledge and capabilities as well as how fast you can acquire new skills.

Job Qualifications 13;
Must:
: BS, MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or EE with significant CS background
: Experience in C/C++, C, XML. Familiarity with .NET, Microsoft Visual Studio, C preferred.
: Object Oriented Programming and design expertise
: Proficient in building, testing, and debugging software
: Strong analytical abilities and creating thinking.
: Self:motivated, quick:learner and excellent analytical skills.
: Excellent team player, flexible, responsive and accountable.
: Good organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast:paced, results driven environment
: Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Desired Qualifications:

: Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio development tools
: Knowledge of communication systems, algorithms, time and frequency domain analysis
: Statistical Analysis
: Knowledge of software development processes and source code configuration management tools
: Software architectural design, GUI design, Software Re:Use and Leverage Experience
: Experience using electronic test equipment, including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, DVM, RF Sources, Power Meters, Detectors, etc
