Job Description 13;
The High Frequency Technology Center (HFTC) and Sub:Systems Technology group (SST) within Keysight develop bleeding edge semiconductor technologies, integrated circuits and high frequency modules to power the test and measurement products that are the core of Keysights business. HFTC and SST develop the core components and modules that power Keysights industry leading test and measurement instruments. The USB programmer and CAD engineer will play a key part in interfacing these modules with the instrument and control software and will work closely with the integrated circuit design team to ensure that our design and layout tools can maintain the industry leading performance and reliability that we expect from our products.

Keysight Technologies, the worlds premier measurement company, has an opening for an Applications Engineer at the High Frequency Technology Center in Santa Rosa, California.

You will be part of a world:class team pushing the state:of:the:art in Compound Semiconductor analog, microwave, and mixed:signal integrated circuits that define key performance specifications, thus enabling competitive differentiation in Keysights RF, microwave and mmWave instruments.

As the USB programmer and CAD engineer, you will be responsible for programming the growing number of remote modules that are being developed for our test and measurement instrumentation. These remote measurement modules are a rapidly expanding portion of our business and this role will play a key part in the success of our technology plan. Additionally, this position will be responsible for continuous improvements to our integrated circuit design and layout software infrastructure.

Job Qualifications 13;
B.S. in Computer Science is required; M.S. in Computer Science is preferred. Typically, 2:3 years of relevant experience is minimum.

Candidates must have experience in multiple programming languages and must have strong experience in C and C. Familiarity with PERL, FORTRAN, UNIX and LINUX would be highly beneficial.
